Our holiday home near Bragança is the ideal place for your vacation. Whether you actively mountain bike, make a tour through Northern Portugal or want to enjoy the peace, culture and nature. There is something for everyone at Quinta da Vista. We are open all year round. The house is exclusively available for you, there are no other guests during your stay.

Surroundings

The immediate vicinity of the holiday home offers many opportunities for various activities. From the house there are beautiful mountain bike routes from 25 to 65 kilometers. The university city of Bragança is 5 minutes away by car, where a walk through the center and a visit to the castle should not be missed. In good weather you can reach the beach of Azibo in 20 minutes, where you can also go canoeing and pedal boating in summer. And of course a visit to the port houses along the Douro for which Portugal is known.

Who we are

This beautiful home was occupied by us, Ilidio and Anouk and our 3 children. Ilidio grew up in the region, so it was with pain in our hearts that we moved back to the Netherlands in 2015 because of our business. Now we like to share the enjoyment of our Quinta with others. Therefore a warm welcome for a nice stay.

In the area

Our holidayhome is situated near Bragança in the North of Portugal. The region Trás-os-Montes ('behind the mountains') is the most remote region in Portugal. A mountainous region in the far northeast of the country. The area is dominated by granite scrub mountain slopes. Scattered here and there in the valleys are many small villages. The holiday villa is within walking distance of Bragança, the capital of the province. There are several nature reserves in Trás-os-Montes: Parque Natural de Montesinho; an unspoilt, rugged area between Bragança and the Spanish border of 70,000 hectares. Iber... Region
